FEES - Grades 6 - 12

Registration fee - all students pay a registration fee upon enrollment and yearly at course registration time.

Computer Fee - all students pay a $60.00 computer lab fee.

Science Lab Fee - Science Lab fees are assessed according to the course taken.

Art Fee - Assessed according to the course taken

BOOKS

High School Books

High school students are responsible for the purchase of their own books.  They may purchase used books from the bookstore and new books through varsitybooks.com, our textbook-purchasing program.  These books become the property of the student.  In regard to the books supplied by the Maryland State Department of Education, the books are not paid for by the student and become the property of the school at the end of the school year.

Middle School Books

Middle school students' pay a rental fee that includes art supplies, other supplies, scholastic magazines, standardized testing fees, and the use of textbooks and workbooks.  The total cost of these books and fees is $200.00.  The $75.00 deduction sponsored by the Maryland State Department of Education and the $50.00 subsidy provided by Bishop Walsh enables us to reduce the cost to $125.00.  This allows us to receive new books without further charge to the parent.  If we did not receive this funding from the state, parents would face a much larger bill for middle school books.

NOTE:  Eighth grade students enrolled in high school courses  must purchase books used in these courses.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

All qualified applicants are eligible to receive financial aid by applying to the school or local parish.  An application form can be obtained at the local parishes or Bishop Walsh.  This completed form should be sent to the Private School Aid Service by April 15th of each year.  The results of this application are the basis for the amount of aid awarded to the family.

OTHER MEANS OF OBTAINING TUITION CREDITS

Use of the Friends Assisting Catholic Education Certificates (F.A.C.E.)

Sweepstakes Tickets

Bingo Volunteers

Information on Tuition Assistance is available through the Business Office.

REFUND POLICY

All fees are non-refundable.

The first month's tuition is non-refundable when a student leaves prior to the beginning of the school year.

THE "FACTS" ABOUT FACTS TUITION COLLECTION PLAN

1. FACTS Tuition Management collects tuition.  Payments are withdrawn automatically from your Bank Checking or Savings account.

2. Parents will receive an invoice from Bishop Walsh in July.  The invoice will have all charges itemized, with any financial assistance from the school and parishes deducted.  The balance will be divided into 12 equal payments, July through June.

3. FACTS will be provided with our balance, along with your signed agreement.  Automatic withdrawals will be made on the 5 th or the 20 th of each month.

4. Bingo and FACE credits will be deducted monthly and the Business Office will provide FACTS with the adjustment in April, which will lessen your final payment.

5. Neither Bishop Walsh nor FACTS has access to the privacy of your bank account.

6. FACTS is automatically renewed each July.
