- Thursday, February 4th is now a FULL-DAY! On the school calendar it is listed as a half-day – that has been changed to a full-day of school.
- H1N1 update, January 2010: The H1N1 vaccine is now available at the Allegany County Health Department on a walk-in basis on Wednesdays 8:30 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 4:00. There is no cost.

- Spring 2009 Elementary and Middle School Stanford 10 scores and ACRE scores for grades 5 and 8
- It's Martin's A+ School Rewards time again! Last year this program realized $12,252.03. Here is how this program works...Martin's gives Bishop Walsh 1% of the total you spend at their stores. All you need to do is call 301-724-5360, ext. 211 and give us your bonuscard number. Please help us exceed last year's total.
- Important Purse Policy Change:
The middle and high school girls may carry a small purse to class. The purse must be kept under their desk throughout the class period. One of the reasons the no purse policy was instituted was because of the number of purses that were on the desks with girls texting from their purse during class time. This is also, and even more importantly a safety issue as the handbags and purses seem to get larger and larger. In the event that this new policy is broken, students may lose this privilege. - If you are interested in PowerSchool Parent Access, please contact Mrs. Flinn. All students have a new username and password this year.
